| Here's the link Ozzfest '04 Lineup It's dated 2/20/04. I also heard Ozzy was unsure of his status. I think if he wan't able to actively perform on stage, his festival probably would continue. I'm sure we'll be hearing more as the weeks progress.

| More info The official website for Ozzfest 2004 (www.ozzfest.com) has revealed the acts that will officially be playing on the festival. Performing on the Main Stage are: OZZY OSBOURNE, JUDAS PRIEST, SLAYER, DIMMU BORGIR, SUPERJOINT RITUAL and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. Appearing on the Second Stage are: SLIPKNOT, HATEBREED and LAMB OF GOD, with rotating guests ATREYU, BLEEDING THROUGH, LACUNA COIL, EVERYTIME I DIE, UNEARTH and GOD FORBID. MTV.com report: "Sixty trucks and buses carrying 525 crewmembers and as many as 20 bands rolling into town to present more than 13 hours of music on two stages can only mean one thing: Ozzfest is back. The metal festival's ninth incarnation will find headliner and namesake OZZY OSBOURNE sharing the main stage with JUDAS PRIEST, reunited with longtime singer Rob Halford; SLAYER; Norwegian black metal sextet DIMMU BORGIR; BLACK LABEL SOCIETY; and SUPERJOINT RITUAL, fronted by PANTERA's Phil Anselmo. Ozzy's participation in the two-month tour is surprising. He sustained severe injuries, including fractured ribs and a broken collarbone that required emergency surgery, in December. Shortly after his release from the hospital, doctors estimated it would take Osbourne six months to recover. SLIPKNOT, two-time Ozzfest veterans, will headline the second stage, where (unlike the main stage) fans can mix it up in the pit. Fans voting on www.ozzfest.com helped choose the second-stage bands, which include HATEBREED, LAMB OF GOD, ATREYU, BLEEDING THROUGH, LACUNA COIL, EVERY TIME I DIE and UNEARTH. Additional artists are expected to be announced later. Ozzfest 2004 will be the first time JUDAS PRIEST tours the U.S. with Halford since he left the band in 1992. The band will begin a brief European trek June 5th in Bologna, Italy. In 1996 Tim "Ripper" Owens, the singer in a Priest cover band, filled the frontman slot, but last year Halford reunited with original members Ian Hill (bass), K.K. Downing (guitar), Glenn Tipton (guitar) and drummer Scott Travis, who joined the band for 1990's Painkiller. A new studio album is also expected later this year from the band, which incidentally hail from Osbourne's hometown of Birmingham, England. It would mark the 30th anniversary of their debut, Rocka Rolla. Twenty-six cities are scheduled for the trek, which starts on the East Coast, heads west to California, then takes the southern route back to wrap up in West Palm Beach, Florida, on September 4. Tickets go on sale February 28th. Prior to Ozzfest, Slipknot will headline the Jägermeister Music Tour, which kicks off March 30th. The band is scheduled to drop its new, still-untitled album five days earlier. Ozzfest is one of the summer concert season's most successful outings. The 9-year-old festival has grossed more than $146.5 million and has staged 236 shows for 3.8 million fans. Last year's tour featured Osbourne alongside Korn, Marilyn Manson and Disturbed." Ozzfest tour dates, according to www.ozzfest.com, include: July 10 - Raleigh, NC at Alltel 12 - Dallas, TX at Smirnoff 14 - Pittsburgh, PA at Post Gazette 16 - Cleveland, OH at Blossom 18 - Boston, MA at Tweeter 20 - Kansas City, KS at Verizon 22 - St. Louis, MO at UMB Pavilion 24 - Detroit, MI at DTE 27 - Indianapolis, IN at Verizon 29 - Hartford, CT at Meadows 31 - Nashville, TN at AmSouth August 3 - Denver, CO at Fiddler's Green 5 - Los Angeles, CA at Hyundai Pavilion 7 - San Francisco, CA at Shoreline 10 - Wantagh, NJ at Tommy Hilfiger at Jone's Beach 12 - New York City, NY at PNC 14 - Bristow, VA at Nissan Pavilion 17 - Columbus, OH at Germain Amphitheatre 19 - Seattle, WA at White River 21 - Albuquerque, NM at Journal Pavilion 24 - San Antonio, TX at Verizon 26 - Milwaukee, PA at Alpine Valley 28 - Chicago, IL at Tweeter 31 - Camden, NJ at Tweeter Waterfront September 2 - West Palm Beach, FL at Sound Advice 4 - Tampa, FL at Tampa Bay Amphitheater Link to this info

| etid Everytime I die puts on a great fucking show. I saw them in Savannah and they devistated shit, but it was also a small club - no clue how they would perform out on a big stage. The singer and guitarist were obviously drunk, and enjoying every minute of it. They got the floor so worked up that kids were starting to grab onto and swing from the low hanging ceiling. |

+20 Internets | seriously you would think Houston being big as shit that we'd get pretty much every tour. This is like the 3rd concert I was interested in that isn't coming here.

| I swear, New Orleans is never a stop on good tours. I think metal bands avoid it like the plague for some reason. Anyway, what does the rotating thing mean? Some bands won't play every stop? |

| I would guess that is what the rotating schedule means. I'm not real sure though. I do expect to see at the very least 6-8 more bands added to the lineup. And if it is kept a rotating schedule on the second stage, this might be the biggest Ozzfest yet as I would figure they would add a shitload of bands. Looks pretty damn good so far.
