musac The (international) Noise Conspiracy really seems to hold a lot of the ideals bands like DK started. Real music with real content - meaningful lyrics about politics and the US's social system. The singer and maybe others are from the now-dead punk/hardcore band Refused.

refused was great and so is the international noise conspiracy. a lot of peple argue that punk isn't dead. often times those are the guys sporting sex pistols shirts still. i guess punk isn't dead if you look at the true punk, not the people trying to be punk. emo is cool too.

But most importantly i'd say you have to open up a bit more. The fact that you grouped the used in the same catagory as those two other bands says alot. Anyone who is familar with the genre would know that.

Linkin Park is, in my opinion, easily one of the most overrate bands. Even when I listened to that type of music I hated them. It seems all their songs sound alike and are truly just a guy whining about his personal problems. If I wanted to hear that I'd take off my headphones.
