| Despite the tedious read, I always enjoyed the Iliad and the Aeneid. I'm very excited about this movie. My only reservation is Brad Pitt... what an odd casting decision. |

| I'm fine with Brad Pitt.. I have reservations about Orlando Bloom playing Prince Paris who is (besides his legendary good looks that charmed fair Helena) known throughout the land for his (surprise!) keen eye, his woodland and tracking skills, his ability to move as quiet as a ghost and most of all his (almost) unsurpassed mastery of the bow! The one and only that could hit Achillis famous heel from god-knows-how-many-fvcking paces away and faced off against Philoctetes in a legendary archery shoot out across the whole of the battlefield. Wonder how long it takes until we see Orlando starring in a remake of Robin Hood... [edit] You'll find the Trailer here . Last edited by Castigator : 11-09-2003 at 12:02 PM. |

| Was defenitly the best part of wasting my time seeing Matrix Revolutions. Looks like it should be really good.

| Excellent If I knew how bad Revolutions was gonna suck I probally woulda left after seeing the preview for Troy. I think this movie has the possibility to be the biggest of all time. As long as 13 yo girls see it 50 times like they did with Titanic. It should smash a few boxoffice records. If it dosent it will be a severe flop. Its all about the marketing.

| that is kinda weird, fleet looked fake, maybe it was just low quality trailer or something, cause I seriously doubt a movie with the budget to afford the big names, extras, and the special effects used to produce the epic proportions as seen in the other scenes of the trailor would allow such mediocre visuals as the fleet I just viewed. *shrug* even if the fleet looked that crappy, i bet it wouldn't ruin the movie |

| Pardon me for sounding like an ignorant bastard, but wasn't this the same movie that was being directed by Aronofsky that Pitt walked away from? I thought this movie (if it is the same one) would never see the light of day. |

| I kinda got my Greek Epic fix from Helen of Troy, the TV movie on USA a while back. They look *very* similar. Really, there's only so many ways you can slice Greek Epics. As for the ships, I was looking at the rear ones and thinking "atsalotta boats" so you should try that instead of focusing on the close ones. I watched it again and they really do look similar if you look at the bottom of the screen (where they're closer to the camera). |
