| Radio Can't believe no one made a post about it yet... I saw it. The movie was decent. Way better than I thought it was going to be, because right as the movie started I said to myself "The previews will have been better than the movie; this movies going to suck." I was proved wrong, though. I mean, I thought in no way could watching Cuba Gooding Jr. acting like a retard for two hours be entertaining, but what can I say? It was mildly entertaining. Basically, it was a good movie. It's something you should see. Not necessarily in theaters. I've heard from my usher people that some women have walked out crying. I didn't really feel the need to cry. I thought one part was sad, but the end isn't sad at all, quite the opposite, it's very happy. I really liked how the whole movie turned out. There's nothing really special about this movie but it's a "flick" that you should "catch" in my opinion.

| I've never so not wanted to see a movie since the previews for "I am Sam." A movie about retards, that's one strike against it. I've never liked a movie about football, so that's another one. Cuba Gooding Jr is strike three You only get three strikes. |

| I think this movie speaks more to the desperation of Cuba Gooding Jr's career than anything else. The film itself was enjoyable, if over-the-top and a bit sappy. But Cuba's portrayal of Radio was pretty ridiculous, and it is obviously a ham-fisted play to put himself back in the Oscar spotlight. Ever since Jerry Maguire, Cuba has been "cursed" with box office failures ("Snow Day" being the sole exception financially, but the role certainly didn't earn Gooding any respect). This one certainly isn't going to change his track record as of late.

| hey now, In the Army Now had ANDY DICK in it. and the girl from Tank Girl! that was a high-caliber cast. But yeah, usually if Cuba Gooding Jr is in a movie it's sort of an afterthought for me...i go "oh, that was him?" What Dreams May Come, Men of Honor, etc. Oi. |
