I liked it a lot, but I love all of John Grisham's books, so I was sort of biased.
I didn't agree with a lot of the political views the movie tried to push, but it was really enjoyable.

The movie kept me awake, which is more than I can say for most movies. It was worth seeing, I suppose. Changed my outlook on guns...slightly. There were exactly two points in the movie in which I said, "Get him, get him!!" so it pulled me in a little bit. Definetly not something I'd pay for though. Unlike Kill Bill, which I would pay for over and over and over again...

However, I don't pay for movies. And as such I will tell you from an indifferent perspective: See Kill Bill instead. Unless you've seen everything else but this, then see something else. It's not that bad of a movie, but it was basically Changing Lanes 2.0

Do you remember the movie Changing Lanes? Yeah. This felt way too Hollywood. It was like this story came out of an automatic-movie-money-making machine. The characters felt flat sometimes, especially the antagonist towards the end. It was just like "Graaahh! I am so evil! Regard my evil!!" Ok, I get it, you're evil.

See something else.
