I was about to post this myself having just got back from the movies. I loved it Uma Thurman did a damn fine job of learning what she needed to with that katana. Couple of surprising *shriek-like-a-girl* at the beginning but then I got used to it. I couple of those deep seated mental head-fucks Tarantino is known for. He did a great fucking job with this thing. Honestly it's my favorite Tarantino movie now and I own/love them all.

Great killing in this movie. Lots of blood spray aswell.

Oh to you guys that have seen it, how rediculously bad ass was that school girl with the flail. Some of the best karate styles i've seen in movies which involve weaponry.

Also he throws a lot of different camera shit at you. I wont give anything away but it was so bad ass.

GIVE ME PART 2 NOW KTHX

Longer story short. I didn't get any for about a month, and she said she's enver going to do anal again

It was a great movie. I would have liked it more not knowing it was Tarintion's movie.

The dialog was much less then his other flicks, so don't go expecting to hear shit like 'would you give a man a foot massage,' or other interesting conversations that make his movies.

The action was incredible and Uma so nailed her role. I'm not much of a lucy lui fan, other then just another hot asian, but she really did a good job too, closest to what I'd expect in a Tarintino movie w/ her dialog.

The blood spray was everywhere, and that 17year old assassin chick was kickass. I'm glad they went to 2 movies, I can't picture anything more then 15 mins being cut from this movie and still being anything close to what it was.

Awesome movie, I loved it. The style/music reminded me a lot about Reservoir Dogs. This is definitely the movie to see.

I loved the music they played everytime she saw a person who fucked her over ;P It was like a funkadelic red-alert.

One of my favorite lines was "You can go, but you have to leave your limbs. They belong to me!"

And yes, Gogo was the own.

Bleh was mediocre to me. Nothing really stood out besides the rediculous amounts of blood and the incredibly cheesy scene with the room filled with Katanas. I'll see Vol. 2, but I don't think it was anything that special. There's certainly been better fights, plots in plenty of other movies that doesn't make this something I'll remember as special.

Bah the Crazy 88's fight was awesome. Plus did you catch the little tributes like the splash of Kurosawa-ish samurai movie music at one part? ;P

Btw, looks like the girl who played Gogo, Chiaki Kuriyama, was in Battle Royale. That's probably where Tarantino noticed her ;P

I liked the RZA track during the big arena battle where it sounded somewhat like the Zentradi (spelling?) battle theme from Robotech.

Oh man I was thinking about the action all last night after I saw the movie, I wanna see it again!

I absolutely hated this movie with all that my little heart could muster up.

The gayass amounts of blood used only for shock value. (they used 200 gallons for the Crazy 88 fight scene)

The stupidity of making one kill take 10 minutes and then when she went to kill Cottonmouth it took the rest of the movie.

The stupid switching to black and white during a real time fight. Flashbacks are ok like that but just because there was too much cheesy 'gore' to film you had to switch it to black and white.

The over the top anime they switched to just to explain Cottonmouth was too much for most of the people in the theatre I went to and I found it annoying.

To top it all off they don't explain why she was being killed in the first place. Everyone else looks like they retired and Bill didn't kill them. For goodness sake Copperhead had a daughter and husband and lived in suburbia. She was as retired as it gets but Bill didn't come to kill her.

Oh and whenever someone said Uma's characters real name they bleeped it out which was way fucking annoying.

And what on earth did they need to put those centering T's throughout the entire movie at the worst moments.

After this movie I will probably never see a Tarantino in the theatres. This one I could have downloaded but I didn't want people to say I didn't like it because I got a crappy internet copy so I payed for me and my wife to actually go to a matinee on Friday. Never ever again will I trust Tarantino to go to his movies in the theatre.

Shock value? No. It's an homage to the old school films that used that technique. Kurosawa's Sanjuro perhaps.

Is there some wierd reason that you believe that films should have fight scenes of equal length?

If you thought the anime was over the top, you need to see more anime. Anime too much for theatre goers? Stupid theatre goers, maybe.

Are you one of those people who enjoy it when the previews for a film give away the whole movie? What did you expect? Tarantino to give you a roadmap to every character's reasons for doing what they do? What was in Marcellus Wallace's briefcase? Who is Russell, and why is the Gimp using his room? Why is it Russell's OLD room? What happened to Zed when Butch left? What happened to Mr. Pink? Why is the bail bondsman helping Jackie Brown?

Beauti's version: Kill Bill, directed by Michael Bay and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, starring Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Harrison Ford, and Sylvester Stallone. Rated PG-13.

Don't worry, Beauti. I hear Rocky VI is in the makings. That should be more to your liking.

Armageddon 2, anyone?

That Tarantino! What an overrated hack!
