| School of Rock Saw this one two nights ago. You know I expected this movie to be terrible. I don't like rock and Jack Black annoys me and I don't think he's very funny. I honestly have to say that this movie blew my expectations out of the water, though. I was expecting the movie to be 2 hours of Jack Black "rocking out" and making bad jokes. It was funny, though, and the music wasn't necessarily the focus of the film. The kids aren't annoying like in some movies where kids are the focus. The kids act quite well; they made me feel sympathetic when I was suppose to feel sympathetic and sad when I was suppose to be sad. The movie did a really good job of sucking me in. In the beginning of the movie I viewed Jack's character as a loser, and I just wanted him to fail. But by the climax of the movie I had sympathy for Jack's character and I wanted him to succeed. I really hated the antagonist and I wanted to slap her. There was really good character progression and I felt that the plot didn't really have any thin points. It all seemed to flow very nicely, even in the beginning when the situation is moving very quickly, they don't make it seem forced. Not really sure about the ending, felt a little too cheesy for me, but what can I say, it was a good movie nevertheless. I say this with almost every movie I review, but I would genuinely recommend seeing this movie when it comes out. Pretty much no matter what you're in the mood for this movie should do it for you.

| Apparently you didn't see the thread I already posted for this movie? http://fohguild.org/forums/showthrea...&threadid=8983 I already saw it, and it was good.

| If you look at the side on that website, it rates Cabin Fever, quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen as a 59, higher then S.W.A.T., Bad boys 2, Once upon a time in Mexico, and only a few points under Pirates of the Carribean and Matchstick men. Yeah, sounds like a credible site. *School of rock does look great though. |

+15 Internets | dot dot dot That's not the sites rating, it's the AVERAGE from all reviews found on newspapers/websites / magazines who write one for whatever game/movie / cd edit: did you just defend S.W.A.T., Bad boys 2, and Once upon a time in Mexico ?

+15 Internets | Saw this tonight: Owned. I have no complaints really at all about it, unless I really tried to pick deep into something it's not trying to be. Was funny as hell, had good music, and Jack Black was great. Two Thumbs up
