| I can't give it more than 2 thumbs down because that's all I have. It certainly deserves more than two thumbs down though.

+20 Internets | Like Dreamcatcher, it was good for the first 45 minutes. The outtakes were pretty funny too. I was enjoying it a lot until it went for the whole answering prayers and chaos thing. Not his best work, but carrey is hilarious.

| i really liked bruce almighty. so it has a predictable "moral" ending. so what? does everything have to be "black humor"? to be funny? to be enjoyable? does everything have to involve complex storylines? nope. seriously, if the entire movie was variations on butt monkey jokes it would have been just another "jackass" flick. now im not saying "jackass the movie" isnt funny; but did it even bother to attempt anything resembling a cohesive storyline? nope. and no im not the kind of person that protests curse words or violence in films or anything like that. but lets face it, theres enough movies out there that cater to that already. those of you that can keep an open mind and dont require fart jokes for laughter will enjoy the entire film, not just the first half. what the movie offers IMO is a sampling of differant joke styles that end with a tasteful goodbye. its the kind of humor that made the cosby show enjoyable but with a twist of jim carrey to keep it interesting. i liked the mix, its that simple. |

| Wow people must really love movies lately, this movie earned over 70 million for the opening weekend, almost a record opening for comedies. Made almost double what the Matrix did this week. I saw Jim Carrey on a talk show joking about how he had to be strong and not be scared of the Matrix with his movie opening, i bet he didn't expect this . |

+14 Internets | I thought it was good, even if the end's pacing is a tad slow. The monkey scene and the police dog scene had me laughing pretty hard.

| I had a bunch of good laughs watching it. It did have a bit of a moral ending, but nothing as big as I expected from the reviews that didn't like it.
