so, anyone played this yet?

i realize its a game; but since it has over an hour of additional movie footage in it, and adds onto the storyline of the matrix films i think its relevent to put it here.

anyway i picked it up today and it looks good so far, but i havent had time to finish yet (too much work sigh..)

the game itself is only mediocre, but im more curious to hear what peoples thoughts are on the storyline as it weaves in and out of the movie.

and what exactly happend to change the oracle into her new form?

I'm loving it. It's not really geared towards hardcore gamers. The guns aim automatically, and you can do all the crazy flips and kicks easily, but it's still fun due to being part of the story and being able to do all those crazy moves. The moves may be simple to do, but you'll still get a thrill doing them, because they look so damn cool. I'd recommend it for any Matrix fan.

Played and finished the Ghost missions in less than 5 hours.... the hand to hand combat is very well done graphically. From a control standpoint, it's awful. You can button mash your way through the whole game pretty much.

Also the minigames just SUCK. I can't believe how bad the driving parts are; after playing GTA:VC it's just unbearable.

Basically the game needed about 2-3 more months of development, but they wanted it out the door on the day of the movie. Don't buy it... just rent for xbox/ps2.

I beat the game very quick too, glad I rented it. Playing through as Niobe now. Having lots of fun with the hacking, but I'm only on day 2 of a 7 day rental so yet another reason I'm happy I went with the 6$ rental v the $50 purchase.
