Can't wait to buy this on the DvD, one of the best free publish items on the web i've seen ever, and worth the money when it's released on video =)

Detective Story isnt shabby either...when you pre-order the Matrix game at EB they give you a DVD that has that short on it. It was done by the folks who did Cowboy Bebop.

Part 1 Had a better story to it, but this was good as well.

I just got through watching all of the shorts (Bootlegged DVDRip) and my favorite by far is Matriculated followed by Beyond. I would buy the DVD if just these 2 shorts were on it. I am such a Matrix feind, lol.

I saw Dreamcatcher this past Sunday. Nothing much to write home about, but ok.

BUT... they played one of the Animatrix shorts before the movie, after the previews. Was about 10-15 mins long. Final FLight of the Osiris. It was totally CGI and it kicked some major ass =)

I thought the Final Flight of the Osiris was the least exciting of all the animatrix shorts.

A short that is 80% fight scene really adds nothing to an overall storyline, the other shorts contributed positively to the matrix universe, this one just showed off a fight scene animated by the final fantasy folks...yawn.

I will certainly be purchasing the animatrix dvd though, especially with the coupon that comes with the 12$ matrix dvd (which also includes movie cash...).

I was so dissapointed with part 2. Part one was telling the story of the rise of the machines, I was expecting part 2 to continue that. Somehow it just didn't.

It was good, don't get me wrong. Just dissappointing.

I think all 4 were fine, quite entertaining. Perhaps the third one didn't have that much relevance to our story with the matrix (Neo, Morpheus, Trinity etc), but it's gotten it's parallels.

I also liked how they varied around with all 4. Like it wasn't one series continuing another.
