Matrix Trench Coats for sale!

I saw this on the site www.thelastfreecity.com They had a thread about Matrix style trench coats you can buy. Here is the link:

Expensive, but they are custom fitted and have import charges because they are based out of Canada. Anyhow, take a look and post your thoughts.

The new movie coat isnt even a trenchcoat, its a modified priest's cassock. I find it quite amusing indeed that they're selling them.

I guess it'd be cool for a larp costume or something. But really, there's NO situation in which Neo's cassock from Reloaded would be appropriate.

Unless you were saving the world, then you would want something that said, Im dangerous, in a non-sexual kind of manner, because you cant have the whole world thinking te person who saved them is slutty. Plus every hero needs some sort of style, if someone saved the world in a T-shirt and jeans Id be pretty disappointed.

Anyone else feel this way?

More to the point, what about Officer Riggs from Lethal Weapon. He was bad ass in jeans and a t shirt.

I'm not saying Neo doesn't look too fucking cool in a priest's cassock (nevermind the metaphor), I'm just saying that if you pay 450 dollars to own a copy of it, well... There are more interesting complete wastes of cash (like antiques). Or you could spend it on booze. 450 dollars in cheap vodka adds up to... uh, alot of vodka. You could forget the year 2003 ever even happened =)

I beg to differ, living in an area where its not uncommon to see people in black leather, metal spikes, weird colored hair..freakish clothes, etc.

I would say that cassock isn't inappropriate.
