Paul Rodriguez, simply the funniest stand up comedian I've ever seen.

I second Bill Murray.

If you haven't seen Rushmore, go see it.

.

Carlin is the best stand up comedian, period. Steve Martin was damn funny in his day too, but ya don't see much of him anymore.

Dave Chapelle..

he does the best white guy voice.. period. His bit where his friend "Chip" gets involved with the cops is amazing. And nothing beats his bit on sesame street.. hah, so many great skits of his. His bit on hostages.. great. His stuff keeps me laughing for hours.

Steve Martin, Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Murray....Will Ferell is good, DANA CARVEY, Uhh who else...Robin Williams is great usually, and there are a few unnamed comics on Comedy central i thought were utterly hilarious. One was this little balding guy who spoke in a low monotone voice. He ended his routine talking about Brad Pitt not taking showers. Yea, i thought he was great, anyone know his name?

Edit: I forgot the late Phil Hartman. I loved his skits.

Harland Williams is someone I'd like to see more of (Rocket Man; Crazy Hitchhiker Guy in There's Something About Mary). He was being interviewed on Conan O'Brien one night this past Summer or so, god, that was the funniest and best interview.

I've never really seen George Carlin before, except until recently. His recent special on HBO..horrible. In my opinion anyways. I also saw a few minutes of the beginning of one of his earlier career performances, didn't like that either.

Phil Hartman and Chris Farley were great. News Radio, love that show. And Tommy Boy...goddamn that movie is one of the best (for a comedy~).

Plenty of other people, I don't think I could really list a "funniest."
