Movies that grow on you.

ok I saw A Knight's Tale in the theaters and thought it was the stupidest movie I ever saw. then it came on HBO and I caught the dancing part and was like ok this is sort of cool. then It came on again and I saw the ending and was like cool.

now I watch it all the time whenever it comes on. it sort of grew on me.

2nd was The Rocketman. I thought this movie was ok but not that great. I rewatched it on hbo/showtime a few times and now I think its one of the funniest damn movies of all time.

JOHN JACOB JINGLEHYMER SMITH! rofl to funny.

A Knight's Tale was alright really. I just hate the opening credits with the fans at the joust singing We Will Rock You and the dance scene when they medival dance breaks out into Bowie.

Oh, and the princess' wardrobe is horrible. She would have been burned at the stake for wearing some of those garments. It was suprising too considering most of the characters have very accurate clothing for the time period.

Yes

Office Space definatly grew on me the most. The first time I saw it I thought it was a pretty decent comedy. The more I watch it the more I like it, not many movies are like that

A good exemple for me would be Unbreakable. After seeing it I was not very convinced, but time passing, the more I think of it, the more I find it to be a great movie on many levels. The idea, the acting, the script, the film making...

Maybe I'll be disapointed when I watch it again hehe

The files are in the computer?

Zoolander. I thought it sucked the first time, now I think it is absolutely hilarious.

The Big Lebowski, hands down. When I saw it for the first time I thought it was good for a chuckle or two. It was funny, but certainly not worth seeing again.

Boy, was I wrong. Since then I've watched the movie somewhere north of 30 times, and it keeps getting better. Talk about a movie whose subtleties you don't grasp with a first viewing; Lebowski redefines that type of film.

It's gone from what I had thought was a so-so comedy to one of my all-time favorite movies. It has grown on me like no other. It's had the same effect with most of my friends. And of course, it's a film with a virtually endless source of quotable lines and hilarious characters. I cannot recommend it enough.

Lewbowski without a doubt, but, this seems to be a trend for me with Coen brother films. All of thier pictures are so well thought out in terms of content and casting that it is almost mandatory to watch them at least twice to catch all of the material you missed the first time.

The Hudsucker Proxy is an even more drastic example of this for me. What Lebowski does in terms of visualizing the "Tao" of a slacker, The Hudsucker Proxy does for the old "brick and mortar" business world of yesteryear. Tim Robbin's and Jennifer Jason Leigh are both incredible performers, but, it is the secondary cast that kept me coming back for more. Paul Newman is outstanding as is Charles Durning.

Films that have true ensemble casts it seems are much easier to watch again just because there is always something you missed. Robert Altman's M*A*S*H is a perfect example of this.

My 2cp.

Mystery Men.

Anyone who is a comic fan has to love that film.
