| 2003 2003 looks to be an amazing year for movies, as far as i'm concerned. Is anyone else excited about this upcoming year? What movies are you looking forward to? Jeepers Creepers II (August 29th) - Set soon after the events of the first film, this time around a basketball team and their various cohorts are on the bus going home from the state championship when they come under attack by the winged Creeper. Stars: Ray Wise, Lena Caldwell, Al Santos Final Destination 2 (January 31st) - A group of friends gear up for a road trip to Daytona for sun and partying. The gang quickly find themselves stuck in traffic on the freeway on-ramp when a vision strikes Kimberly of a horrifying disaster. Stars: A.J. Cook, Michael Landes, Ali Larter Shanghai Knights (February 7th) - When an assassin murders Chon's estranged father and escapes to England, Chon and Roy make their way to London with revenge on their minds and with Chon sister's help they uncover a worldwide conspiracy to murder the royal family. Stars: Jackie Chan, Owen Wilson, Fann Wong Ripley's Game (April 4th) - Third novel in Patricia Highsmith's "The Talented Mr. Ripley" series. Now middle aged, Tom Ripley is married and living in a French estate. When Ripley is offended by a man at a social gathering, he suggests to use that man's help in a murder. Stars: John Malkovich, Dougray Scott, Lena Headley X2 (May 2nd) - Sequel to 2000's "X-Men" adaptation. After a mutant nearly assassinates the US President, Xavier and his school find themselves under attack and the pawns of a General determined to wipe out their kind - a man with a link to Logan's past. Stars: Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin The Matrix Reloaded (May 15th) - Second film in the trilogy. To quash the rebellion, the matrix releases a computer virus in the form of silver men with power equal to Neo. Soon they spread and multiply so fast that the agents must ally themselves with the rebellion to stop them. Stars: Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie Ann-Moss 2 Fast 2 Furious (June 6th) - Sequel to 2001's car hijack drama. Stars: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (July 2nd) - Sequel to the 2001 hit comedy. Pretty-in-pink lawyer Elle Woods heads off to Washington to accessorize her rights, take on the political establishment, and initiate legislation in the name of her beloved dog, Bruiser. Stars: Reese Witherspoon Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (July 2nd) - The artifical intelligence Skynet network is on the verge of going online, and two terminators are sent back in time to protect and kill off the young adult John Connor - this time the assassin is even more advanced. Stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kristanna Loken, Nick Stahl Bad Boys 2 (July 18th) - Sequel to the 1995 action comedy hit. Miami police detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett investigate the flow of designer ecstasy into Miami which has ignited a bloody turf war. In the process, Mike begins to develop feelings for Marcus' sister. Stars: Will Smith, Martin Lawrence Exorcist: The Beginning (July 18th) - Prequel to the original horror film classic. This follows the journey of Father Merrin (played by Max Von Sydow in the original) as a young priest traveling through Africa which leads him to his first encounter with demonic forces. Stars: Stellan Skarsgaard When Harry Met Lloyd: Dumb & Dumberer (July 18th) - Prequel which follows Harry and Lloyd - lovable best buddies who are big on heart but short on intellect - as they meet and try to survive high school including a janitor who adopts one, an inept school principal and Harry's lusty mother. Stars: Eric Christian Olsen, Eugene Levy, Mimi Rogers Tomb Raider 2: Cradle of Life (July 25th) - This time explorer Lara Croft discovers the mythical Pandora's Box in an underwater temple, only to have it stolen from her by a Chinese crime syndicate and their employer who wants to go about causing doomsday. Stars: Angelina Jolie, Chris Barrie, Noah Taylor Jeepers Creepers II (August 29th) - Set soon after the events of the first film, this time around a basketball team and their various cohorts are on the bus going home from the state championship when they come under attack by the winged Creeper. Stars: Ray Wise, Lena Caldwell, Al Santos Texas Chainsaw Massacre (October 17th) - Remake of the 1974 indie slasher. Checking reports of a grave desecration, a group of teenagers in rural Texas find themselves being chased by a terrifying family of cannibals including a man in a human skin suit. Stars: Jessica Biel, Eric Balfour, Jonathan Tucker The Matrix Revolutions (November 7th) - Third film in "The Matrix" trilogy. With Neo trapped inside the crumbling Matrix whilst the others rush to protect Zion from the machines, the end is about to be determined as to who'll survive in the human vs. machines war. | The Goonies 2 (2003) This sequel to the '80s flick will find the stars of the first film reuniting 20 years later (along with their kids) to solve a new mystery. got a kick out of this! WarGames 2 (2004) This rumored sequel to the Matthew Broderick '80s flick about a kid who almost starts World War III using his personal computer has been rumored for some time, but it looks to finally be getting underway, according to producer Walter Parkes.
