Just wanted to add to the I loved labyrinth comments. One of my favourite movies, and I only saw it for the first time when I was like 19 or 20. HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE IT? I even had some ugly chick reciting the entire movie as we watched it and I still came away liking it.

You know what I really thought? First I really thought they were remaking Labrynth, which gave me mixed feelings, like sporting wood while crying. Do you know what that does to a man? Obviously fucking not, because the next thing I thought was that you're a little dickless shit for giving a negative review to a movie over 20 fuckin years old that is probably one of the best movies made in the greatest era of movies produced.

Seriously? You can take your opinion on Labrynth and go fuck yourself with it. No one, and I mean not one single fuckin soul, wants to hear your shit. You have the brain power of a fucking slug, and obviously can't comprehend simple concepts like 'awesome' and 'testicle rupturing badassedness.' Be glad I'm not a mod, I'd shitcan this thread so fast your mom would feel like she just got fucked, and then I'd ban you for a few days to give you time to think about what kind of a shithead you are.

Not that it's not possible, but I am calling bullshit. 30, going to college, watching a roommate's movies? Just doesn't add up for me.

I picked up the Labyrinth / The Dark Crystal double pack dvd a few years back. Quite possibly one of the best dvd purchases I have ever made.

Heck, I don't even care for David Bowie that much and I love this movie.

It's too bad LOTR didn't spur on another wave of fantasy movies.

Yeah, weren't there like 5 fantasy movies after LotR? Eragon, those Wardrobe ones, a few more.

This thread is the best thread:
Cathan: "Labyrinth sucked, amirite guiz?"
Everyone Else Ever In The History Of All Things: "Fuck you, motherfucker!"

80's fantasy movies = awesome.
I am, quite naturally, including Explorers and Goonies in that. Hell, may as well throw in Flight of the Navigator as well.
Edit: And The Last Starfighter.

Stardust is great and is recent. As for OP hating on Labyrinth, he's probably trolling. Either way he deserves a good groin kick from a mule.

Stardust actually feels like an 80s fantasy movie to me, for some reason. In a good way, I mean.
