Or at least, Micah/Katie would notice right away.

First movie had a good story, good script, good characters and actors, this movie has none of those things, the reality aspect is a cheap way to get around using shitty actors with a weak story. Really you think liking this makes you some sort of intellectual? HAHA!

You bitch about the acting but the movie was made with a budget of 11,000, so they couldn't afford Deniro. No one said it makes you an intellectual, and the only people who would even approach intellectual/snob status are the retards nitpicking the validity of the movie because Micah didn't call a priest or they didn't have enough pillows on the bed to properly shield them from a demon attack.

introducing random plot devices in a movie that never get used is an example of poor editing. they should have deleted the scene of the motion detector being installed. you dont need a big budget to do something like that.

+31 Internets | Maybe they made a bigger deal of the motion detectors than I remember, i don't remember them being instaleld or whatever. All I was saying is that these are highly theorectical points, you have to make assumptions to really take issue with them. When there are glaring points like why the fuck is everyone just cool with it when she did the staring for 2 hours thing, or finding the picture. Those things were pretty fucked up and early on. If my wife did that, upon watching the tape in the morning, we would be the fuck out of that house. The picture thing, we're gone. It would never get to the point of dragging her out of the bed or slaughtering our family, and if it did it would be in a hotel 100 miles away. |

if that wasnt a hint to move then surely it would have been Kate standing stiill for hours asleep and then walking outside of the house. if its affecting her this bad you need to get out, like right that fucking moment, dont even wait til morning. get some clothes and check into a Motel 6 and call the real estate agent on the phone first thing the next day.

| Is this movie really just a bunch of slamming doors and moving sheets? I can't see how this is at all frightening. In one of the trailers, a sheet started moving and they cut to the audience all going "OOOOOOH!!!" and flinching back.

| basically, some other stuff happened too. they used the old school method of terror instead of outright horror. though they attempt one gory scene and it was laughable. i really wanted to like and be scared by this film but it kept kicking me in the head with its stupidity it was ruined. BTW the TV show A Haunting is super scary, in fact so much so i had to stop watching it cuz i was getting nightmares and shit about it. if you want to be terrified(at home), do not see this movie, get Season 1 of A Haunting on DVD |

+40 Internets | If you want really good movie advice, just listen to Astrocreep. He has a pretty flawless track record around these parts. What's also funny about Delvin Douche is you make fun of him for seeing Saw VI or whatever and then he's rebuttal was about Saw 1. YOU WEREN'T SEEING THE MIDNIGHT SHOWING OF SAW 1, you were seeing Saw VI. |
