I didn't love Cloverfield, but I wouldn't mind seeing it from another point of view and a little continuation of what happened after the bombings.

Loved the first one, but I don't think a sequel is needed. Especially since Reeves and Abrams were talking about shooting the same movie again with a different group of people... that just sounds retarded.

And I tend to agree that this video is way too obvious to be a real Cloverfield 2 ad, even if it was filmed near Bad Robot's offices.

I'll see it as long as it's continuation of the same basic story (or at least somewhat progressing it). I really enjoyed the first one and also thought the monster looked pretty cool. This seems too over the top to be a real viral for it though, not so much the sign but the freeze, the sign just added to it.

Remember when we all thought that ethan whatever website was a viral for it? ended up being some stupid fucking card game or something. That's got to be some of the coolest viral marketing, it's too bad nobody gave a shit about the product. edit: Ethan Haas Was Right - Look to the stars for help was the site, I think Kiksar finally solved it and all those videos on youtube kept getting pulled down

The original was pretty average, but I did like the concept. The story they went with was awful.

If they want to use or make it look like they are using a hand camera or news camera they need to watch Rec first to see how its done without being annoying, and have the camera add value to the movie instead of being a negative.

I would give a sequel a go, I felt the original was not that bad to justify avoiding the sequel.

I really liked it, I'd be excited to see another one. If it was just a retelling of exactly the same events, with exactly the same information, and nothing new... wellt hat would suck. If they explored the same event from a different angle, giving different information, that would be cool.

There are a thousand different ways they could take it. I won't see it in theaters this time, it made my wife sick.
