| Bad movies that could have been a lot better Ok those movies that could have been good had it not been for a few things. Unbreakable: Ok what was up with that ending? Ending the movie 10 minutes earlier would have been a lot better, I mean the movie wasnt all too great but I would have enjoyed it a lot more without seeing that. Resident Evil: Again like the last 5 minutes of the movie just killed it for me. The rest of it wasnt too bad but the end just makes me never want to watch it again. I know there are lots more! |

| Star Wars Episodes 1 and 2. Ep 1: Get someone who knows how to direct actors. Nix Jar Jar. Much better movie. Ep 2: Get someone who knows how to direct actors. Nix Hayden. Much better movie. TPM I thought was a fun movie, but it borders on bad for me primarly due to Jar Jar. It did have its redeeming qualities. (I know many thought is was horrid.) AoTC I enjoyed a lot, BUT... Hayden annoyed me with his very poorly performed whining. "He's says I'm t-too un-pre-predictable." Ugh, shut up. And despite the fact that I would likely accept a marriage proposal from Natalie Portman, her performance also left me less than impressed. Just a few *small* tweaks here and there would of made this a much better film, IMHO. |

| Judge Dredd! It was good, up until the point where Sly took off his helmet... leia was hawter than padme. And at least it makes you think luke isn't SUCH a bad whiner...Obi-Wan was much more interesting. maybe it was just because of the beard...i tell you, that beard could turn a straight man gay! and more of the ending...the imperial theme booming while the armies march all around and launch the star cruisers almost made having to wait for 1 1/2 hours worth it. .....with the DVD I can skip directly to that! | Signs... The water weakness was fine, BUT put these technologically advanced beings in some suits, after all Earth is 75% covered in the stuff. What if it rained? There's water in the form of moisture in the atmosphere at all times... Make the last fight, between the priest's brother and that alien, a little less one sided. Have the brother stabbed, the kid thrown against the wall, etc. The movie left me wondering if there was no glass of water, would it have mattered? Likely no, the alien just stood there being hit by the baseball bat like a brain dead stooge. The poisons the aliens had were NOT lethal unless inhaled directly. Why have a poison that must be inhaled within "melee" range, that is emitted from a retractable skewer like claw? They had the ability to cloak their space ships, but they relied on the primitive defenses of their species. Yeah camo and poisons are nice, but where were the mind control devices, phasers, etc. |

| Alien^3 .. They could have left the people from Aliens actually like... LIVE.. You know? I spent weeks having nightmares and looking under my bed because of that heroic rescue and then they go and kill everyone off in the next movie! WTF! Thanks for making me piss myself and actually care they made it out. Bastards. |

| Yes, most of the acting in SW 1 and 2 was pretty sub par. Hence why I said find a director who knows how to work with actors. Hayden's performance was the only one that really annoyed me, though. Nothing against the guy - he had his moments. But overall I think he could have been steered in a better direction with some better, uh..directing. Heh. |

| A.I. Movie should have ended after the robot got frozen. Without that final 30 minutes, would have been a much better movie. The Spielberg ending ruined it. Ladyhawke. Sort of a cult classic, not really a bad movie, but still could have been made so much better by one change...the music. How I'd love to see a version with a new soundtrack. It is bad enough to make you cringe. A second change, making the sword fights more believable, maybe with a bit of blood or at least making the swords look like they connect with the bodies would be nice too. |

| Mission to Mars. An hour and a half of good set up only to have the mystery figured out and solved in 10 minutes to end the film. With 45 minute of more film and an actual lengthy process of figuring out what was happening, and it could have been a very good film. A friend of mine once said, "You know why that alien was crying at the end, because he was stuck in that god awful movie."

| Windtalkers. This movie sucked but looking back I think it definately had the potential to be a good movie. The director (forget the name) directs cheese-ball action movies, and he should stay there. Also, Nick Cage is pretty overrated in my opinion.
