| Yea, I'm still holding out hope for the Depp as Riddler rumor to be true. Whoever he casts though, he definitely gets benefit of the doubt since no one thought Ledger was going to bring it in Dark Knight. |

She's not even average looking, IMO. I found her downright unattractive. | |

| Oh my god, she's so hideous. ![]() You guys are so full of shit. You'd cum in your pants if she shook your hand and you know it. Quit with this "her knees are too sharp" bullshit.

| She is hot in that pic only because she is hiding her toe-thumbs. Joker is the best villain in the entire Batman franchise, so I think they blew their wad on the second film. That said, if Depp could do a very dark riddler, ah la the Jigsaw killer from the Saw movies, it could be a worthy follow up to Ledger.

| Ledger would be difficult to follow, but not impossible. As was said before, it's not like we were all excited over his initial selection. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is a great example of someone who COULD turn out an unbelievable performance. I mean, his villain was one of the best parts of mission impossible. Everyone throws Johnny Depp around, but I sort of think he'd be a let down. Too much hype around him. I like Depp, but he'd really have to be inspired by something to pull off the role (ala hunter thompson or keith richards). When left to his own devices, he tends to fall into familiar character patterns. While they are still good, he'd need to bring something unique to really captivate the audience for the follow up to Joker. Riddler is my personal favorite Batman villain, and Depp is one of my 5 favorite actors, but I don't think he's necessarily the best person for the role. If he really put effort into it, as an honor to Ledger, then maybe. I could easily see Nolan getting an interesting, dark performance of the Riddler out of quite a few other actors. If you ever watched Dexter, I could see the guy who played Rudy Cooper/Brian Moser (Christian Camargo) as a very compelling Riddler if done in a darker, slightly haunted and psycho tone. As someone else said, think along the lines of Jigsaw, except that instead of making a personal sacrifice, he wants to test the limits of human intelligence under stressful conditions. If you can somehow jump beyond your normal capacity of logic/reasoning/puzzle solving, you'll get out alive. But, figuring the way out is way too complex for pretty much anyone he puts into the situation, so everyone ends up dead. However, consciously, he doesn't feel he's killed anyone. Subconsciously, he feels guilty and leaves obtuse clues so he can be stopped. |

| Now all we need is Fox to turn up on Letterman wearing a catsuit telling the crowd she already has the role, then she'll go home and glue her boyfriend's dick to his chest. Oh yes, History will repeat itself. She could be the new Sean Young. |
