it only took Nolan .....0 movies to get it right IMO. Burton batman and batman returns were good too(for it's time and style)...The Schumacher batmans were awful.

Wait, you consider those good? Sin City, V for Vendetta, and Dark knight were literally the only good movies out of the ones you listed.

Judging by your taste, I bet you're emphatic about the release of saw 16.

you missed the greatest movie ever mad as well, 300.
and it's etc, douche.

You didn't like History of Violence? Everything you say about movies now is void sir. "How do you fuck that up?"

Put me in the group that thinks that more comic movies are good news.

Hell even the bad ones are enjoyable and make good summer flicks. Like Wolverine.

Hellboy and Spawn were terrible. McFarlane decimated the quality of the movie with his HBO animation. That was Spawn done right: mean, disgusting, and crossing understood boundaries of morality. Spider-man is very debatable. Whether it was true to the comic or not, V for Vendetta is a shallow copy of 1984. Given the choice between the two, I'd rather see a film based on the original. 1984 dominates the genre of dystopia/totalitarianism.

And I don't think Nolan got it right with the first one. Dark Knight is head and shoulders above BB, and everyone seems to agree on that point. Dark Knight was such a fantastic movie that it garnered attention outside the standard influence of comic book films. Batman Begins was weak as most origin stories are. They need to skip that bullshit henceforth. We do not need to see Peter Parker getting bit by a radioactive spider and transforming from a loser to a freak. If necessary he can have a dream sequence where it flies by in moments. The whole idea of slow ass origin stories is an assumption that your audience are drooling retards.

Comic book movies are fun, and I enjoy them, but they're generally not good. 9/10 are pretty horrible, with bad casting, bad acting, bad script, a stupid plot, etc. etc. The three X-Men movies decided to include every single bad aspect of a comic book movie, and they started with a terribad script and horrible casting. They mis-matched the team's ages and heights, raped Cyclops's character to make Wolverine into an atypical leader, destroyed the point of Iceman and Rogue, etc. I blame 20th Century Fox. They're fun, but if you attempt to defend the quality of comic book movies you're asking for punishment.

With the exception of "Road to Perdition" I loved every movie on your list. But I am a comic fanboy and even enjoyed "Elektra".
And I just worship "V for Vendetta". I must have seen the movie for like 20 times now and I am still loving every minute of it.

God I hope Liefeld isn't actually involved in anything creative about the movie. Maybe Nicieza, but please not Liefeld.

Although I supposed Liefeld + Fox is pretty much a match made in heaven. Deadpool will have over 9000 grenade launchers, no feet, and say Shitfuckass a lot.
