| The 2nd book my my least favorite of all the books. The movie to me was even worse. They left out more in the second movie than they did in the first one. I almost wish I never read the books because my girlfriend who hasn't read the books really like the second movie over the first one. If they make a 3rd and 4th they will be better than anything at all. But that's just me. All in all it was a good movie. I think I was hoping for more. |

| It's been some time since I last read book 2 (a few years) but the main story that they left out off the top of my head was the birthday party for Nearly Headless Nick which is where they actually learn about the basilisk. Also, they adjusted who tells them about the Chamber of Secrets I am pretty sure although that's really a minor change in the grand scheme of things. In the interest of length though they simply couldn't do Nick's Death Party since it's not essential although it would have made for some great CGI/costumes.

| In the book they learn about the chamber from one of the teachers who's a ghost. They left out the party with the ghosts. They left out a lot but it's still a well made movie. I'm just jaded because the books are better. I guess that's why I'm not very excited about the two towers. I've read all the books and seen the cartoon movies so I know what happens. I wish I was a kid again....these movies would be awsome and I could look past everything they left out. |

| Daredevil is more accurately "blind" and not really blind. He lost the use of his eyes, yes, but he sees in another manner. DD is an excellent comic with a real down to earth story. He's much more of a Batman type superhero. Just an exceptional human. He can't lift 50 tons, fly or pop antumantium claws, etc. The preview to me makes it look like they are trying to keep it a little more low key. Much more character drivin then X-men or Spiderman. I'm sure it will not be a huge blockbuster (no where near Spiderman money and short of X-men as well) but I'd like to see it make at least 75-80 mil. I'm hoping it's good. I can even overlook the black Kingpin just because Michael Clarke Duncan is so physically perfect for the role minus the skin color.

| used to cyber with Wendolyn and Hobben | well Just saw the movie yesterday night. Without revealing anything, the scene with the massive amounts of spiders really was creepy hehe. But what I wanted to say is something like when we talked about LOTR - in that particular scene I just had this urge to stand up and shout EVAC or some heh. ANd my god there was many of em. |

| would love to see the third and especially FOURTH books in the series... i think the Sirius Black character could be played phenomenally by a few actors... but wouldn't tie in with the british theme persay... but yah, fourth i think is nearly impossible to portray well onscreen... it's too damn long, like... look at how butchered it would be... probably one of my fave reads in the last few years was Goblet of Fire... just because it was so surprisingly good and i expected shit out of the entire HP series (really was surprised when i read them all) who'd have thought KID books would be this huge... i mean, millions of copies of a 750page kids book sold in the US? it's like, heresy... Sony/Nintendo must have cried in their accountants beds the opening week for Goblet of Fire... all that lost revenue... |
