CASHBACK, THE MOVIE - Official Site

I haven't heard too many people mention it, but I really enjoyed "Cashback". It is one of those I like to watch when I'm feeling particularly introspective.

Amazing trilogy, although the 3rd was a little odd. the first movie however is one of my favorite movies to date. Mind you i absolutely love anything with andy lau in it

I had a huge obsession with this movie for a long time, another fantastic asian film is Sex is Zero.. basically its american pie, but the later half of the movie is quite serious.

Schizopolis is a great movie, but I don't think Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is underrated. It is a really popular and well appreciated movie. The same could probably be said for Schizopolis, but I don't think it has the same notoriety.

Also, I think A Scanner Darkly is underrated. I know it is pretty "mainstream" but most people I talk to either didn't like it or didn't get it. In either case, it very accurately portrays both the content as well as the overall mood conveyed in the novel. Definitely the best film adaptation of a SciFi book.

Have you seen the english release? I bought both versions and i have to say the english one somehow made more sense.. they had extra scenes and some original cuts from the movie were switched around

Casshern was decent. Mostly just visuals and a decent story, but nothing amazing in my opinion.

I've been meaning to watch the Infernal Affairs trilogy, but I've been put off by Asian cop/crime dramas recently because literally one in every other movie fits under that category in Chinese cinema.

I liked A Scanner Darkly too.

I personally love the come dramas they make, i havent seen or heard of any good onces since.. Shawn Yue in.. Color of the Loyalty i think? Which i dont think was even that amazing. Though i do enjoy him as an actor in those roles.

Know of any other good ones?
