+8 Internets | I liked the shot they had on TMZ tonight of Downey in full Ironman suit (minus helmet) sitting in a giant donut sign on top of a donut store eating donuts during a break in shooting. ![]() Iron Man Eats Donut Hole ... In One | TMZ.com |

| That does look pretty badass. But Iron Man can shoot missiles out of his butt and was actually involved in a chase with a frigging jet in part 1, so I have a hard time imagining how some dude with whips could be a problem. I'm sure they'll find a way to sell it though. My opinion on all the other casting, since I'm sure everyone is dying to know what I think about news that's six months old: -Don Cheadle just doesn't have the chemistry or comedy ability that Terrence Howard does. You know that rapid fire way that RDJ talks, that's sort of half funny and half serious? Howard is quick and funny enough to hold up his end of the scene (so is Gweneth Paltrow, which really surprised me). He just gets it. Don Cheadle is a totally different type of actor; he doesn't have the right kind of chops. -It sucks that they couldn't get Emily Blunt. Not just because she's hotter and a better actress than Scarlett Johansen, but... actually yeah, those are the two main reasons. I was really bummed that she didn't get the part.

+3 Internets | Cheadle will be fine, if not great. He'll probably be very similar to his character from Volcano. Whiplash must be awesome in action, cause the picture doesn't really make me look forward to anything. This is the villan that is going to have to be able to fend off both Iron Man and War Machine at some point? Looks like a cross between Omega Red and Forest Gump (leg braces). In Favreau I trust. +19 Internets | Who the hell is Whiplash anyway? I can pretty much guess what his "powers" are but uhhh, seriously... who the fuck? I've never heard of him before. I still think Don Cheadle can pull it off.

Also keep in mind he is going to be including elements of the Crimson Dynamo as well in the movie. So he'll probably go from what we see to an armored suit + whips later in the film. | |

+9 Internets | No. They have similar weapons (energy whips / tentacles), but they aren't related at all in the comics. Also, as was said above, the movie version of Whiplash will borrow elements from Crimson Dynamo, the evil Russian counterpart of Iron Man. |
