Oh, I can't believe I forgot to mention the Death Wish series with Charles Bronson, the first movie being the best.

Those movies are nothing BUT about revenge. Chuck Bronson kicking ass and taking names with people who killed his wife (and any other bad people in the way.)

If only in a perfect world...

enough wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. It's a pretty damn violent movie that doesn't sport one of Hollywoods 08/15 endings. I wouldn't watch it again, but that one time I thought it was worth the fee.

Dangerous Liasons - Glenn Close being jeered at and having her carefully constructed social platform just decimated was pretty brutal.

Maybe White somewhere in there too.

The Count of Monte Cristo (book) is the greatest revenge story. Movie version is pretty weak.

Braveheart, Payback, The Godfather are kickass too.

And even though the movie isn't about revenge entirely, who can forget Mickey's revenge on Bricktop in Snatch??

Enough was complete waste of celluloid. The movie was so one dimensional it was sick.

Like Voron said, if you think the movie The Count of Monte Cristo was a good revenge story, read the book. Fucking incredible.
