i would just like to say that there is NOTHING similiar to American Psycho.

i would say Fight Club, American Beauty, and The Matrix are kinda unique..

for Hannibal just look for serial killer movies i guess.

for Training Day look for corrupt cop movies i guess - Internal Affairs with Richard Gere and Andy Garcia is excellent.

i would just look around the net - imdb.com - for movies that are the same genre....

Fight Club: Check out David Finchers previous movie, The Game.

The Matrix: If you liked the direction, try the Wachowski brothers first movie, Bound. Strange Days might fit in here, Dark City maybe as well. The Thirteenth Floor was alright but nothing spectacular. I'd recommend Johnny Neumonic but it kinda sucked.

Training Day: Maybe Copland, The Corrupter, L.A. Confidential, Heat or another Antoine Fuqua movie like The Replacement Killers.

RD,SoL,Hannibal: Manhunter, Seven

American Beauty: There really nothing I can think of like it but look into Road to Perdition. It's directed by the same guy who did AB, Sam Mendes. Don't think its out on video yet though.

American Psycho: Can't really think of anything remotely like this one. Maybe look into other Bret Easton Ellis novels turned into movies. Less then Zero and The Rule of Attraction are the only two I can think of.

Snatch, Reservoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects, A Clockwork Orange, Taxi Driver, Dog Day Afternoon, Goodfellas, Apocalypse Now...

Those should keep ya busy for a while. Some are similar to what you mentioned, others you would probably like based on what you posted. All are good.

you guys rock thanks, i'll check them out! After seeing Fight Club I started reading all Chuck Palahniuks novels(Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Choke, Fight Club, havent read Lullaby as yet). I read and watched American Psycho but havent read any of Ellis' other books as yet. Thanks everyone =)

I read fight club and was like wow that was better then the movie, i should read some of his other stuff. Then i looked at what they were about, started crying and stoped sleeping.

Out of ALL the movies suggested, the one I think you will enjoy the most is "The Usual Suspects". Great fucking movie. God I love Kevin Spacy.

Bledynn you named a few gems..
I heard a clockwork orange was completly fucked up and disturbing. Apocalypse Now, after i watch this movie it blew my mind so hard I had to sit there for about an hour trying to wrap my head around it. Great flick. Goodfellas is also a pretty good flick thats fucked up. Resivior dogs is awsome but that goes for any of tarantinos movies. Minus 4 rooms i thought that was fucking stupid but only 1 story was done by him.
