+1 Internets | Honestly, fuck, I think that was the problem. No real "future." It was fucking awesome in Aliens because, it was in god damn space. With god damn awesome vechicals and nowhere to go! All this new shit is in Shit_town_2009_01 and it sucks. I agree set sometime during the Aliens series would be damn perfect~ |

| If you've read any of the comics or novels, most of the interactions between Predators (Yaujtas) and Humans are in the future. There should be no real reason to sticking to the present day. <3 Aliens edit: From what I remember (it's been a long time since I've actively read any of the comics or books), but it didn't sound like they were nearing extinction. If I recall correctly, one of the Aliens books has the humans going to the Alien world. Or I might be getting Aliens 5 (the possibility of Ripley going to the world) mixed up. x_x ugh.

+11 Internets  | ive been reading a couple of predator books lately. one has it hunting in a desert in new mexico against a military outpost and another in siberia. first one would make a pretty solid movie(navajo soldier encounters it, etc etc, ends up winning in the end)

 | Is there place where one can read a pretty good summary of the whole lore behind aliens, predators and mankind in it all? I tried searching but wikipedia for once didn't give me a clear walkthrough. It just specifies the individual films, comics, games or novels. (and yes I prolly suck at searching :/ )

After this tho, both the storyline and drawing quality become crap (its almost like they stoped caring about this comic. probably wasnt selling very well). Ripley returns after she has spent the last 15 years helping the Wailand Corp to look for the aliens' homeworld. They devise a plan to bring on earth the alien matriarch ( a sort of queen of queens). The presence of the matriarch on earth cause a sort of "massive reunion" of the entire alien invasion on earth. it all ends with them nuking from orbit the crap out of all those aliens pretty anticlimatic.....
