| yeah but this second to last time we will get to see him have spells bounce off his half giant body as he tosses wizards around like toys. it would be nice to see him other than a silly incompetent groundskeeper. i think he does some asskicking in book7 too. |

+3 Internets | After watching Goblet of Fire again this weekend, I really do wonder what the hell the director was thinking in terms of how Dumbledore was portrayed. He went from being always calm and omniscient (even in Azkaban), to a babbling and panic-stricken fool. There were several scenes that just made me go WTF..... him jumping at Harry after the Champion selection .... talking to Harry after the pensive, saying something along the lines of "It's been DRIVING ME MAD".... or how about the way he tried to pull Harry of Diggory? Anyway, glad to hear he's returning to how he should be. Between the trailers and videos clips, it's pretty clear portrayal that Spoiler Alert, click show to read: |

+8 Internets | Spoiler Alert, click show to read: I read a few early reviews that had a lot of praise with this film. Would have preferred they let Cuaron direct the rest of them but hey! |

| I remember a lot lot of discussion about early viewers many months ago complaining about how they butchered the story, it was all teenage love bullshit, I guess they fixed it? I read some spoiler script thing a while ago and the whole ending was messed up, like Harry wasn't even on the roof during that climactic end scene but rather watching it from down inside the school. There were other changes too. You guys are saying it's actually pretty faithful to the book? |

| 'Half-Blood Prince' is witty, spectacular and one of the best - USATODAY.com Some mention of the ending of the movie in that , say's "harry's less innefectual that in the book" or something, described as "anti-climatic".

| The ending is....pruned a bit, from what is described in the book. And it's not overly difficult to tell that it's been cut and re-cut a dozen times or more. It's still a good ending though. And yeah, the rest of the movie has the love interest stuff but it's not nearly as sappy as it was in the book, nor as predominate. Some of it is pretty damn funny. Also, Emma Watson wasn't talking at hyperspeed anymore. The acting throughout the entire movie was top notch. Going to see it again tonight. |
