+1 Internets | Taken - Liam Neeson Starring Liam Neeson, from the writer of 5th Element. Very Man on Fire vibe. It was released in Europe in February, no idea when it hits the states but its out on DVD already overseas, so you may be able to find it. Anyhow, excellent film if you can find it. |

| Watched it last night as well. Good movie, and hell, I didn't even realize it was PG-13. Liam Neeson definitely beats a lot of ass.

+8 Internets | watched it based on movie house recommendation... very good movie. Surprised it was PG-13 (I guess? torrented it). Lots of pretty intense scenes and shit. Only thing that bothered me: Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Other than that, good times.

| Except for two specific scenes, I found it to be pretty boring. The large plot holes (Blank pointed out the big one) didn't help much either. Liam pulled off a good performance as usual, but even that couldn't make this anything more than mediocre. The two scenes I'm referring to are: Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

| This. I couldn't give a shit about the plot holes or whether it was believable, it was still a great movie. If you like the Bourne movies but hate shaky-cam, you absolutely should watch this. As for the PG-13 rating, the version most/all of you have watched is not the PG-13 cut. There's not a huge difference but the torture scene is toned down, and I would bet it will lose some of the blood. Not sure why you make a revenge movie anything less than R anyway, but oh well. The violence was still pretty brutal. |
