| For Spike: Zachary Levi from Chuck (Although Keanu Reeves prolly won't be terrible) ![]() Jet: Jeff Bridges from Iron Man ![]() Faye: This chick would would work if you wanted go low budget (she'd have to dye her hair, but she has nice breasts and the right haircut/facial features) ![]() or Angelina for star power. otherwise i'd say Jaime King ![]() Everyone else I could give two shits about. Except Vicious i guess, he needs to be a young Jason Isaacs. I love Cowboy Bebop, but I'm vaguely hopeful for this, if it actually comes out, because it would translate well to the screen without a ton of chop-shopping. It's much more story-driven than most animes, as well as being fairly grounded, so it wouldn't need to be a super-cgi glitzfest. If you get the cast interaction right it would do well as a movie imo.

| Zachary Levi would be a cool choice, but he is such a dork. Even when they make him act serious in chuck he still comes off nerdy ![]()

| Jaime king looks like a walking mummy in those shots. Seriously you couldnt find anything better? As for the casting Kate Beckinsale, she would be a perfect choice for Faye I think. Got the look and the hair right there. I can also see Bruce Willis as Jet. I think hell do fine. |

I don't like Keanu as Spike either, but your average, brain dead movie-goer probably doesn't know a thing about Bebop, so having a star like Keanu will bring in more people. Oh I long for a time where movie makers care more about the final product then they do about the final dollar numbers... wow, I got that out without laughing | |

+25 Internets | Spike is a pretty difficult role to cast, because it falls into a stereotypical anime character type (along with the likes of Nikki Larson or Cobra) that goes from a tone to another almost instantly. Goofy -> deadly -> happy go lucky -> seductive -> etc... A solution is to write some aspects off (I don't remember Jackie Chan doing a whole lot of seducing when he played Nikki Larson) or hope you will (re)discover abbilities in the actor you pick. At least, Reeves did some special effect movies with fights and guns and he did some goofy comedies and even romantic comedies... was he good? Well I only saw his "stiff" parts and Spike is all but that, so I can't tell... EDIT: If I had to make a risky pick, I would go for Adam Brody. Like the part he is tall and slender, he has a detachment and irony about him that suit the part and, as seen in Grind, he has some athletic abilities that could be useful for action and comedy alike. He is also probably a fan of the source material (which can be good or bad...). That said, you don't exactly fill theatres with his name alone.

| the problem with Keira is not only the lack of boobs, its the lack of everything. Keira stoped to be in my "hot" category when she started to be a walking skeleton. Screw anorexic girls, i want some meat on my women Last edited by fucker; 01-20-2009 at 07:57 AM.. |

+33 Internets | My favorite character is obviously Edward. The pumpkin head scene in the movie (I think?) was hilarious.

| That guy from Chuck would be worse than Keanu Reeves I'd bet, mostly because he is always so goofy. That would work sometimes, but I can never look at him and not think "what a loser." Bruce Willis could actually be pretty good as Jet, but that is sort of a function of what they'll do with him in the film. A lot of the time he is just a plot device, more or less, and his character is established in such a way that can be the opposite pole to Spike or Faeye depending on the situation. On rare occasions he'll take a more active part in the series, but usually he just tells us how much he loves freedom and honor, so how could Bruce Willis not handle that. I'm looking forward to some real information about this movie. Like are they going to fit it into the main series or retell something or just rehash the whole thing. I'd imagine that if Watanabe is actually going to have a hand in production, he'll fit it into what already exists. The problem becomes that if you say "the movie takes place between these two episodes" you are really limiting yourself in potential character development within the movie. |

| Even tho Jet is not Black in the show I always picture him as a big black dude probly because his voice actor is black. Something like professor Badass, but a tad beefier. ![]() After looking at that Jeff Bridges pictures he would make a cool looking Jet.
