Anyways there is plenty of really really bad spoken lines in the history of cinema. There is one that always makes me cringe:

Rocky 4 "If I can change, and you can change, then we can all change." Just plain killed the ending/movie.

For best all time would be: "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" - Dr Strangelove (1964) Mainly because I still say it, or variations of it.

They definitively can in the Navy. There's a famous video of a F-14 or F-18 crashing during an aircraft landing and the pilot was the first female to fly in the Navy.

Sadly, the real star of Top Gun, the F-14 Tomcat, has been retired for many years. And The US Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) is now based in Fallon, NV. Not that the movie industry has ever given a shit about accuracy.
