| They are certainly in the same vein but Porky's is a different film entirely.

| =( I did a quick scan over, but I did not see Enter the Dragon on the list. Nor did I see Predator or The Last Dragon. May have just overlooked them though. Don't forget about... Over the top. I OWN YOU. Plus 3 mintes of grunting and groaning.

| So why are these movies you have to see before you die? Do they show off humanity at its best? worst? Are they movies to inspire you? Most of the time we watch movies to pass away our free time in entertainment, and it seems most of the movies on this list fit that criteria more than anything else. Goodfellas and Bladerunner and Godfather2 are my three favorite movies, but for story and setting and action, no real deep reasons. For me the top 3 movies that every person should see before they die, because maybe it'll make them think about their life or other people, are: Shawshank Redemption Its a Wonderful Life (yah old and kind of schmalty but still...) not sure last one... perhaps Schindlers List to see how good and how bad we can be as people All 3 are Hollywood movies, could pick more esoteric foreign/indie films (Requiem, Shoah, Iqbal, Hotel Rwanda, etc) that have the same basic lessons but these 3 imo are almost flawless movies. |

| depends on what kind of moment you're in at the time. You could show those 3 movies to someone who has a different lifestyle than you and it would be a complete waste of time.
