Movies you've made....

I don't know if this thread will work or not, but i'll give it a shot. i love coming to this forum to get the insight from so many different people around the world. although most gets sifted out, there are a lot of intelligent people on here. i'm curious, especially since this is in the movie house, how many of you out there make your own films. maybe for fun, or as a student. i make them for fun but plan on going to film school in the fall.

either way, i'll post mine. i made this in 2005. it was shot in one day and completely unscripted. i shot it on a shitty cannon mini dv and used imovie 08 to re-edit it. i hope to see other people posting their stuff up here too!

I've posted some of the stuff that I've done on the video thread, but I would love to see other people's creations too!

Sadly I haven't been able to do as many short films or projects as I would like (having two majors and no money can be an obstacle)

But here's some of the stuff I've done so far.
I have more that I'll upload eventually....

Music video I did for an artist from San Diego

Parody of The Office - I wrote 6 episodes total but was only able to film one

Parody of 24 (heavy inside jokes from my school in this one) there's 5 episodes but I'll only embed the first one.

Something I wrote and directed for the Apple insomnia Film Festival.(24hr film fest) I'm kinda proud of this one, though it isn't great at all, I built the team the night before, so I didn't have anything pre-written or thought of, and I spent half the day writing and casting, so I was happy with the result.

And a couple of funny commercial mocks

So this is probably a very poor example but here is a bit of video I edited into a music video. I shot the video with a friend's digital camera at a local bar (Slippery Noodle for those familiar with Indy) and edited it using window's movie maker. Of course uploading it to Youtube put the the music slightly out of sync. The lady just kept joining other groups of people on stage for open blues jam night... with her tambourine.

i made this last semester. it was a 5 minute short. we had a week to come up with the idea, shoot, and edit it.

I just uploaded some of the other stuff I've done...

Another 24 hour contest.. sadly on this one my actors only had a couple of hours to film and the mic wasn't working for some reason... I might redo it at some point because I wrote a "sequel"

This one was done for a skit we did at my school so it's just a video for a bigger story, but I think it stands on it's own

Here's the trailer for my buddy's film school short.

I wasnt involved in that but he and i and some other friends entered the austin cinema draft house snakes on a plane contest where you got a random animal and a random vehicle and had to make a short out of it. I dont have a copy of it currently but I'll see if one of my friends still has it somewhere. We didnt win.

I'm a film student, and I'll have to upload the 3 short zombie films and the 1 documentary (my focus) on vultures I've made

need to convert 2 of the zombie films from 16mm b/w to digital first though.

I'm a little embarrassed to put these up, but I do quite a few home videos. Despite the terrible camerawork and shoddy editing, it's pretty amazing how cheap and easy it can be to shoot HD video. My daughter is going to grow up and have tons of high-resolution photos and videos of her early years.

Last two are in HD here and here.
