| Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt. According to imdb, the release date is May 15, 2009. I was unsure about the concept at first. But after reading this: "Bruno" Pranks It Up - July 8, 2008 I'm definitely looking forward to it. I actually saw one of the posters in Winston Salem a couple of months ago. I should have gone. Last edited by dFiend : 07-13-2008 at 10:49 AM. Reason: img |

+4 Internets | I found Borat hysterical when I first saw it in the theaters -- but then I always enjoyed his Borat bits from the show. I never found his corresponding Bruno bits particularly funny, so I'm not quite holding out hope for another Borat in this. Will see, nevertheless. |

+2 Internets | Bruno I think is the most hilarious out of the 3 but I don't see how this can be as good as Borat movie. His jokes take time to set up and execute, unlike Borat which is in upfront shock comedy. A bit similar with Ali G- he was good in his TV series doing interviews and general banter with people but put into a movie theme where he had to become a character part of a story line it isn't anywhere near as funny. If it was like 1hour20 of making scenarios like the favoured College Frat wrestling team for Austrian Gay TV then I'd love it, but if it's like Ali G or Borat story line I don't see it working.
