God I love the beach. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the first time I saw it, I had just finished smoking a vaporizer for like half an hour and had no idea what the movie was and became absolutely entranced by it. Every time I see it it reminds me of that magical first viewing.

Also Romeo and Juliet was awesome. Matter of fact I think I own a double dvd with both of these movies on it.

Waterworld.

Kevin Costner.

He's been in some great movies (Mr. Brooks, Field of Dreams, Dances with Wolves, maybe Tin Cup, Bull Durham and a little bit of Robin Hood).

Then you have Waterworld and The Postman.

waterworld has some hilarious scenes, its a very fun movie. i own it on DVD. now i am not saying its a piece of art. hell no, its a bad movie but still very enjoyable.

I don't know why people bag on Nic Cage so much. Does no one remember his early work where he was all about drama? A lot of the shit he did wasn't well recognized because the movies sucked and no one could have made them into something but Cage at 2 live roaches in one of his early flicks about some vampire chick he was hot for.

What others term as his worst movies like the ambulance driver (better off dead or somethin) he does some real acting in those. Yeah Con Air was just purely commercial but just about all of his biggest box office hits are summer movies designed for nothing more than big $$$ action flicks with very little quality acting. I'm still waiting for the real Cage of yesteryear to give us a true quality drama film that's more than mediocre.

Whoever posted Statham rocks, props to you. I've been a fan of his since Lock, Stock & 2 smoking barrels.

I own the Beach, only Di Caprio title in my collection.

For all the shit Keanu Reeves gets I think he's earned my respect for 2 reasons. For one he'll do just about any kind of movie whereas a lot of actors won't do shit outside their "range" thus the cause for bitching about some actors always playing the same guy in every movie. The other reason is the matrix. He'll live on forever with that first matrix, no one can play a clueless, lost person the way he can. He has some really shitty movies but there's enough gems.

Bill Murray is a guy imo that's done his fair share of good and bad. I loved Ghostbusters 1, Scrooged and many others but I fukn hated that trans somethin flick he did in Japan. Ghostbusters 2 was pretty damn cheesy 2

Norton rocks as an actor, though he may be in the occasional bad movie.

The other one was "Keeping the Faith" which I never saw... By the way, it's "Rabbi."

I liked the Guardian. My gf loved it so I bought it for her for christmas even.

My favorite Costner movie is "For Love of the Game." Kelly Preston is my idea of perfection in that movie.

cage has only been good in 2 movies, maybe 3 I would say. travolta can actually put out some good shit from time to time but has so many turds. samuel l jackson mainly makes turds with the occasional good movie. for listing this though I think you should really list someone who is considered an A class actor with a fair share of turds. Norton's turds are debatable and 90% of this thread are average actors anyway (did someone really say brendan frasier?).

denzel washington. the guy is a good actor, but he chooses some stupid shit sometime. anyone here seen john q? god that movie is laughable when you see it a second time. Out of Time was pretty bad, he was basically the reason He Got Game sucked, the whole prostitute side-plot was retarded. The Siege and The Preacher's Wife. But he has some movies that are amazing under his belt too and has an oscar to back up his credentials.
