He was the Emp in Gladiator, he also was the first gunman killed by Gene Hackman in The Unforgiven. I know he has been in other things I am just drawing a complete blank as to what they were tho

Very sad.

I've read all the Harry Potter books and from seeing the first movie he was the perfect person for Prof. Dumbledoor. I wonder who will take his place in the 3rd 4th and 5th movies.

Richard Harris movies:

"A Man called Horse" - The first one was a good movie. Sequel movie suckage.

"Man in the Wilderness" - Co-Starring John Huston. Loosely based upon the exploration of the american northwest.

"Camelot" - He was King Arthur.

"Juggernaught" - Bomb disposal on board an ocean liner.

I know their will be a 3rd movie but they are in most likelyhood not going to make the 4th book or any others into movies. IMHO the 3rd movie will fall short by a lot without Harris acting in it. It's a very sad day. Harris was a great actor and will be missed.
