I liked the first when I saw it. The more I see the first one though, the more I realize how terrible of a movie it was. It was totally awful. The second one won't be better.

Well rumor had it the budget for this movie is twice what it was in the original movie. Allowing for more CGI and such. Hopefully Micheal Bay will cut back on the shaky camera action and go more with a storyline about, you know, maybe Transformers. I agree it wasnt nearly as good as what people were hoping for. However the CGI was pretty good when you see them standing there and just talking and moving casually.

The first was really dumb, pointless, unexciting. The only good part about the movie was Megan Fox.

The blonde aussie was about five times as hot as Fox. Don't get me wrong I pretty much came instantly when I first saw Fox on Two and a Half Men, but she's not a classy kind of attractive. More of a porn star, trashy kind of hot. That aussie on the other hand was gorgeous.

Ah, Rachael Taylor. And she's Tasmanian, which is awesome.

It really was terrible, but still entertaining because it's fucking transformers. It does pain me to think how cool it could be if a non-mouthbreather were put in charge though.

Because the first one did so well this gives Bay the idea that he should repeat the same concepts in the sequel.

- So we get to see more of that zany guy from Section whatever.
- The autobots provide comic relief.
- The US forces totally pwning the decepticons.
- The feeling that I should join the US forces.
- A movie that people talk more about the hot chick in it, than transforming robots who should be the major talking point. So bring on the semi nude scenes or dressed hot scenes..

And he will get more money to do this I assume.

Only reason I saw this movie (and paid for it) was because it had transforming robots blowing shit up. A mindless concept to some, but to me its just pure win. Until I saw the movie.

I will be seeing this movie, I just can't pass up giant transforming robots, but there is no way every I am paying for this soon to be made pile of crap. Although, the first 5mins of the first movie took me to cinematic heaven.

You get your wish. They filmed in the Air and Space musuem here in DC this summer. Supposedly Jetfire is a SR-71 blackbird.
