Jazz was my favorite transformer, and it was my favorite show/comic/toy line as a kid, but the 1st one didn't make me hate it right away because there were gigantic transformers on the screen every so often. If they can increase that amount I may actually by the dvd someday!

the first movie would have benefitted so much from having some of the original voice actors (in some case having them alive would be nice), in particular Jazz. While I would have liked Cullen to do Ironhide as well, having random_negro_impersonation_06 doesn't come close to the awesome that was Scatman Cruthers doing Jazz. And I still don't think anyone can match Frank Welker as Megatron (although I think Hugo Weaving did admirably) or Chris Latta as Starscream. How about you faggots get John Moschitta to do Blur, now THAT would be fucking awesome.
/grumble...

Edit: I would love to see them try to match the awesome of this scene from the original movie:

Yeah, honest to god, if they had made a live action version of the original movie, word for word and scene for scene, it would have been the best movie ever. What we got was just absolute shit in terms of story. I could not have cared any fucking less about the humans in that movie. Who was responsible for that abortion of a script anyway?

And just to reiterate what I said above, the VGCats cartoon was bang the fuck on: have the most basic modicum of plot and humans, and then get the fuck out of the way for 2 hours of gigantic robots fucking each other up in high definition CGI glory. Most of the movie was a complete waste of time and totally unnecessary.

it was worse than that. actually, it was so bad that the movie would have been BETTER if the transformers didnt show at all eccept for the first 5 minutes, and the final battle

instead, not only we had to watch 2 hours of "American Pie meets Dumb and Dumber", but we had to watch the robotic version of JarJar fooling around the entire time or the Bots play Hide&seek with the kid's parents

ill stop here because this movie would deserve a wall of text of epic proporsions to make a complete lists of its faults and i know you dont want it
