Ramon Rodriguez, who was cast in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" as Sam Witwicky's (Shia LaBeouf) comic relief college roomate, might have a much bigger role in the third installment.

Director Michael Bay hinted that he has big plans for Rodriguez, who turned out to be a great find. "I've worked with big stars, people like Will Smith, Sean Connery and Bruce Willis, but casting is a weird thing, it takes you places you don't expect," said Bay. "We went looking for a sidekick in this movie, Shia's sidekick, and we find this new kid who really pops on screen. I think he's going to have a real bright career. It's great to work with big stars, but it’s always fun to discover people."

Made the mistake of seeing it in imax. Got there 20 minutes early and there were already so many people in line that the gf and I could only get seats about halfway down the room, which meant the action was completely, utterly nonsense and I actually had to look forward to the parts without robots so I could at least make out what the fuck was going on.

Horrible fucking editing.

I mean it was amusing enough I suppose, the dialogue had funny parts. Devastator teabagging us was incredibly lame though.

Reading through those lists of errors made in production though - holy shit, they really didn't care.

Obviously it worked though, talk about profit.

i honestly thought this movie would have been better than the first, but from yours and other site comments the only superior thing is the "quantity" (and not quality) of special effects

every other element that compose a movie seems way worse than its predecessor....

Worst film of the year, I almost walked out.

I feel like I watched a giant erect cock draped in the american flag for 2.5 hours.

Action was decent even though it "meshed" a little too much between robots at some parts.

I was really annoyed though by the fact that the editing was as bad as it was, but they made the effort to keep in every dick and fart joke they could in the movie. I can't figure out why scenes of something humping something else in different versions were "keepers" (yes there's multiple), yet the end fight wrapped in less than a sneeze.

At least they took a character I couldn't stand in the original series (Bumblebee) and made him into a badass warrior.

Will not watch the third unless they manage to get a storyline put together that involves a nuclear holocaust and the last humans being shipped to a dinosaur age earth like planet. (getting rid of the american pie humor wouldnt hurt too)

When I looked at my watch after the first climax and realized there was still a hour and a half to go.. I hated this movie.

damn i enjoyed the movie for action but the plot story suckassness just nervs me even now.

however one thing listed on imdb as a mistake is not.

When they go to meet Agent Simmons in New York City, there is a shot of the Brooklyn Bridge with the American flag on the eastern tower of the bridge. Although, earlier in the film (and in the trailer) a Decepticon is seen knocking the flag pole off of that same tower.

Did they ever tell Sam that megatron was brought back to life by the allspark chunk? As far as I recall, the first sam is told that the chunk is going to bring anything back is when the RC car tells him to hold it out and watch the magic happen. And that wasn't a dead Transformer, more hibernating I thought.
