I can't believe no one has mentioned Gladiator yet.

Ong Bak had some pretty nice fights, and they seemed quite original when the movie was released, since most fight scenes from action movies were involving mostly different sorts of kung-fu/wushu.

Ong Bak was awesome. His second movie had some cool fights too.

This one was all done in one shot.

The bone breaking scene, lol.

It's quite interesting when he runs into the three Asian dudes and they are all talking Jive to the Asian wanna be black guy.

I tried to find the fight between George Clooney and the guy suiting his wife from Oh Brother Where Art Thou, but no luck.

"And stay out of the Woolworths!"

It wasn't epic by any means, especially on Clooney's behalf, but it was damn memorable and funny.

Glad somebody mentioned Hector Vs. Achilles in Troy. That loses something not being on the big screen but when I saw it in the theater I thought it was the best thing ever.

For my money though, the best and one of the most brutal fight scenes ever is Dan Dority vs. Capt. Turner in Deadwood Season 3.

I think it's just horrifying to watch. No Hollywood glamor, just 2 strong and tough guys trying to crush the life out of one another. Brutal.

Hatorade reminded me of this. Geraldo getting his nose busted might be the greatest thing ever.

I don't care what anyone says about this movie, I loved it. And this was one awesome fight-scene.
