There is something I don't get: if these are top 10 for american films, then what is A Clockwork Orange doing in the bunch since nothing about it is american? And if these top 10 are not limited to american films then I am not sure if I must laugh or cry.

Why the hell it is in Sci-Fi, I don't know. Atleast the top 10 Gangster movies make perfect sense.

The Fantasy genre is all sorts of fucked up. I'm still curious why the movie "The Game" with Micheal Douglas never got any respect.

no shit. Tombstone is by far one of the best westerns of all time. My all time favorite movie also.

I think unforgiven deserves top 10, it was a badass movie.. So was most of clint eastwoods movies though.

The AFI is a bunch of 137 year old zombies. Just...just ignore all their lists and carry on with your lives. They are all completely predictable. The oldest movies possible, with 2-3 recent ones tossed in purely to try and seem relevant.
