I thought Hillary Duff was pretty good in that. A lot better then her usual motw type crap.

A. Bartlett Giamatti died just 8 days after Rose voluntarily agreed to permanent ineligibility from baseball. A lot of people think the decision would have been resolved if it was not the man's last act as commissioner.

EDIT: Oh, I looked up the other contenders for best support actor that year and, uh, nevermind. I guess they had to give it to somebody, and a Puerto Rican speaking Spanish was about as impressive as it got.
