They're both in War, Inc. (currently in extremely limited release) too, which was a far better movie than I expected. It's no GPB or anything, though it's similar in a lot of ways, but definitely worth watching even if you find the politics a bit overbearing.

At any rate, Joan Cusack is great when she's with her brother. Not so much on her own.

I thought Hillary Duff was pretty good in that. A lot better then her usual motw type crap.

Paul Giamati is forever Pig Vomit from Howard Stern's Private Parts (in my head)...he's a hell of an actor but I can't look at him without laughing.

George Clooney is definitely overrated, but this scene always cracks me up.

Just thought of this one. Michael C Hall is awesome and needs to start being in some movies.

Damn, now I have to watch From Dusk Til Dawn again, I completely forgot about that part. I haven't seen it in so long.

Shouldn't this really be two threads. I'm confused who people think is overrated or underrated.

You'll find no love for A. Bartlett Giamatti in Cincinnati that's for sure. Bet on baseball, banned for life. Be a cokehead like Darryll Strawberry, go on probation twice, take an 11 month trip to prison, and still make it to the Hall of Fame Ballot.

Which is worse for the integrity of the game? Betting for the team you are coach, or being coked up in outfield?

A. Bartlett Giamatti died just 8 days after Rose voluntarily agreed to permanent ineligibility from baseball. A lot of people think the decision would have been resolved if it was not the man's last act as commissioner.

I'll drink to this. He is a great actor, hardly ever has a lead role. He also has an impressive film list.

Paul Giamatti

God damnit, I read pages 1 and 2 and see 1 reference to Giamatti. I don't read page 3 and it is nothing but Giamatti in every post. Fuck it, this post stays.

Underrated:
Vin Diesel...jk

Jesus Christ. He mumbles in ALL his movies. And yes, in Traffic he mumbled in Spanish and Hollywood sucked his cock for it. Man, that ass ugly Puerto Rican guy sure can act Mexican!

Someone should make a film entirely in Klingon. It'd win Best Picture for sure.

The next lamest Oscar I can think of is Halle Berry, but on the other hand, I fully endorse giving awards to hot women who get naked and rammed from behind by Billy Bob.

EDIT: Oh, I looked up the other contenders for best support actor that year and, uh, nevermind. I guess they had to give it to somebody, and a Puerto Rican speaking Spanish was about as impressive as it got.
