| Saw this tonight with my father. Was a great hour and a half, very very funny, and a good sendup of Hollywood, the Left, and Islamic Terrorism. I really enjoyed it, but I'm a conservative, so, ymmv.. |

The trailer makes it look very... unapologetic. As much as I hate red america (i live in texas), if it's actually funny about the generalizations then well done. It looks like 'Michael Moore is fat lol' the movie. The angel of death should have called him a pinko shithead or something less lame :v edit: forgot <'s don't work here Last edited by Pren : 10-04-2008 at 03:16 AM.

It's extremely funny about generalizations.. They lampoon every facet of the Left, the Terrorists, and Michael Moore. No stone is really left unturned, so to speak, and they are very thorough in their criticisms. There's a great scene with the ACLU and more than a few suicide bombings. Honestly, it's worth seeing, conservative or not. And it's less a Michael Moore is fat than it's a (minor spoiler for a running gag) Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Last edited by JerleMinara : 10-04-2008 at 05:07 PM.

| Thgouht it was pretty funny myself.. I was also a bit surprised the theater was packed. I will say its very similar to a scary movie / epic movie / etc type movie.. a few great one-liners/etc but a lot of "wow.. who thinks thats funny?".. If you dislike michael moore this movie is awesome. I must say it was a nice change to see something other than "america sucks" coming out of hollywood. |

| EQ1 Apologist | Hmm. I thought it was fairly stupid. The humor never really managed to overcome the overbearing political message. The whole 'this is the real America' bit was as arrogant as anything Moore has done. There were about 5 people in the whole theater, too. On a Saturday night. |
