I'm wishing this particular title would have been saved for a movie... related to the title.

A movie where suddenly nobody can understand the language being spoken by anybody else? Now that could turn out to be a great film.

This... is another Vin Diesel movie. They're fun to watch with your roommate buddy or something for a little entertainment, but hold no value beyond that. Needs a new title so M. Night or J.J. or somebody else can come along and use it for an actual intriguing idea.

Ever since I found out Vin Diesel was a huge D&D fan I've been strangely intrigued by his movies. Pitch Black and the Chronicles of Riddick were really good Scifi flicks and I'm hoping this will be his best yet.

Vin was really good in Find Me Guilty so if you haven't seen that, do so. The whole idea seems ridiculous but it's based on true events and some scenes are stuff that actually happened in the court room (culled from the transcripts).

That said I think Vin needs to do only sci-fi movies from now on. This looks very on par with Riddick, if not Pitch Black, and I'll happily find a way to see it on the big screen as opposed to waiting for video like normal.

Well shit. I was reading something earlier that said the full length trailer came out with the release of Hellboy 2, so I didn't even check.

It was the first time I saw it in a theater, but it was the same thing we saw here, yeah.

Just saw the movie. Not bad, but nothing exeptional either.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
It kind of felt like an action oriented version of Children of Men (without it's awesomeness).
The story feels like it's not finished, as if they didn't have enough cash, and needed to quickly bring closure to the movie.
And ffs, I thought that since the director is not american, the movie wouldn't have typical hollywood retarded shaky-cam fights. Well, I was wrong >_<

What other work are you talking about? When Babylon A.D. is wiki'd, I only get the film or the 80s glam metal band.

Oh haha referencing Tower of Babel and all that. Only thought there was another work out there when you said "I'm wishing this particular title would have been saved for a movie... related to the title." Misunderstood it as their being another work called Babylon A.D. Thanks though.
