This movie was hilarious.

suprised this movie isn't getting more reviews. I saw it tonight only because I was drug along and was extremely reluctant to see it or even spend money to get into the movie. I criticized the movie for the first 10 minutes because I just didn't want to be there then I really started to get into it. By the end of the movie I had a smile on my face and was honestly happy I spent $10 to see it. Alot of good one liners, the action is decent enough to be entertaining, and the movie never takes itself to serious. Wouldn't go and see it by myself if given the opportunity to see it again, but I give it a positive review and is definately worth the $10 considering the other movie choices available atm.

It's part of the joke.

He means to say: "I torrented this movie because I torrent every movie because I'm too fat and lazy to go out and see the movie in the theater in fear of being shamed by how obese I am."

This movie was fucking awesome. Took my niece, nephew, a friend, and her daughter to see it. Everyone loved it.

Not really much in the way of story though. But let that go and just enjoy it. The animation was really well done, the jokes were funny, and the voice acting was pretty damn good too. Jack Black was really good as the panda, you could tell it was really tailored to him. His shtick has gotten pretty old lately, but worked great here. And Ian McShane as the evil snow leopard was awesome. As soon as I realized it was Al Swearengen I was even more in to it. Hoffman as the little master guy and David Cross as the crane were also good.

Also, the opening was done in a somewhat more traditional cartoon style and was also awesome. I would have watched a whole movie like that happily. If you've ever seen the show Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, it was kinda like that but more dynamic. Very cool looking.

As for how it compares to previous Dreamworks films, it's better. Including Shrek I think, which I liked. I'd say it's probably my favorite animated movie since The Incredibles. And I loved The Incredibles.

This was a great animated film. It's as good as the original Shrek.

I liked the movie, it was good and funny kinda sad jacky chan and lucy lu didnt have much in terms of talking

I also felt it could have been a little longer- but only if certian parts where done up more- more filler would make it too long.

On par with The Incredibles? That's a pretty high bar to reach. I think i'll have to check it out.

I liked them both about the same

the orig shreck still is a little better mostly because its play on classic myth/fairytails and adult humor (yet each adult style humor could be easaly explained away if a kid asks- this is not always the case if the kids catch on to it)

It's not on the same level as Incredibles, or even any of the Pixar movies, and even Shrek is superior, but its better then most of the other animation stuff that has tried to jump on the bandwagon. At the end of the day, its 90 min you'll enjoy and won't regret watching it.

It stomps the shit out of Cars, which blew ass.

Incredibles > All. Still. I just said it was my favorite since that=)

Shrek is better for watching with kids, but as a stand alone movie I liked Panda more. The look and art of Shrek has never been a real selling point, regardless of how well it's done.
