Two Lane Blacktop/ Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry

I watched both of those movies yesterday, 70s movies I believe. I wasn't all that crazy about Dirth Mary, Crazy Larry. Peter Fonda was one weird lookin mofo... I liked the cars and really expected more chasing/race action than what there was. That and the ending wasn't all that great imo...

Two Lane Blacktop was awesome though.

I love movies where everyone isn't stating the plot so blatantly for 8 year olds to follow. That gets on my nerves when the plot is spoonfed. There was very little dialogue in this movie. Most of it was just racing. Near the end I couldn't figure out why the girl left on the bike but then I remembered when they nearly wrecked the guy she liked was more worried about the car and never asked about her. Then it was just back to racing. I normally hate people that lie just to impress but "G.T.O." grew on me as the movie went on. I wish I knew of more movies where the action in the movie did the talking and the actors were more of a supporting cast to the plot of the movie rather than the only focus.
