+13 Internets | Mummy 3 The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) I have to admit I'm a fan of the mummy series. I went into the first one with close to zero expetation, may have even been going to see something else that was full, and was so pleasantly surprised to get a fun enjoyable film. The 2nd was probably not as good but I wouldn't call it bad. I like most treasure hunting films and its nice to see this one going into asia which hasn't really been done enough imo. |

| I feel like the original poster, I was amazingly surprised by the first Mummy movie, I enjoyed it tremendously in the theater and to this day it's one of my favorite movies in the genre (behind Indiana Jones movies). The 2nd movie was rather disappointing, and honestly the spin-off it spawned (Scorpion King) was better than Mummy Returns. That said, this sequel looks better than the Mummy Returns, and I'm looking forward to it.

+2 Internets | The two Mummy movies are some of the most rewatchable movies I've seen. Every time I come across one while channel flipping, I stop. I can pick them up at any point and be entertained. Glad to see a 3rd. |

| Brendan Frasier is great in the Mummy movies. No Rachel Weisz is incredibly saddening =/ The son is already an adult? (edit) kinda torn since I like the Mummy movies and Frasier, but I can't stand Jet Li and how much they hype/use him.

+39 Internets | they are genuinely fun movies to watch... the mummy returns sucked it up at the end with the CG scorpion / Rock combo... other than that I loved them

+2 Internets | Despite how much I absolutely, positively, despise Brendan Frasier (worst actor in Hollywood!), I enjoyed the first two Mummy movies. This looks like a good popcorn flick at the very least. Looking forward to it. |

| I enjoyed the first 2 very much. That said, making a third is an affront to God. Should not happen. Will still go watch Jet Li~

| :\ No Oded Fehr and no Rachel Weisz means a lot of chemistry missing that made the first two so fun.
