Says it follows The Last Starfighter, which is easily one of the coolest movies EVER CREATED. This movie is going to be amazing. It will be awesome.

Didn't they use a Crey super computer to generate the graphics in the original? Pretty amazing considering how old that movie is.

The kid will be at one of those massive lan parties and win the title of worlds best while he and of course a plucky comic relief friend/dog will be along to keep it funny to the kids.

Oh, and he'll be an orphan who nody likes which will give him moral issues on why he's saving the world in the first place.

Yeah...not the graphics but the fact that they used a supercomputer. Because the SE sucks in comparison to Star Wars, which is a 31 year old movie.

Star Wars did it the "normal" way in that they built physical models and then directly altered the film to remove the rails and add the laser shots/etc.. Starfighter did it pure CG which of course at the time looked like crap. Star wars did look better though, I'll agree.

I think I would watch that.
