I deleted RT from my bookmarks, it's a terrible critic site as has been established many times.

I was going to go see this last night, but got the game WET and lost track of time. Before I knew it was 6am.
Anyway, I'm going to be seeing this tonite though shame there's no nudity, but this "other scene" has me even more intrigued.

It was really campy. Despite no nudity, there are a couple hot scenes, though. Just glad the girl that was with me isn't the type to get jealous. Not gonna say if it was good or bad because that depends if you like campy movies with gratuitous blood and sexual themes. If you like that, you'll like this movie.

Sounds like excuses to me. Drag Me to Hell is sitting at 92% on RT so it seems like they can "get" a horror film.

Ah, yes I see the point you are making. I don't think it's neccesarily a failing with RT which is designed to provide a score for movies on a broader scale.

Saying Jennifer's Body is a fantastic film if you love R-Rated Horror but below average if you don't is probably a fair statement.

Well, Ebert did give it 3 stars out of 4, and he's about the only mainstream critic I have any respect for. Even when I disagree with his reviews I can at least see where he's coming from.

You can say the same about just about any great genre movie, though I'd amend "below-average" to "average." The problem is the assholes who hate the genre go review the movies anyway, RT will let just about anyone with a shitty blog into their main score now, and worst of all, a lot of people actually use that score.

No, there are films that exist that transcend Genre specific tastes. I may not be into documentaries, but if one is just really good and can appeal to people other than fans of documentaries.

Also Ebert is a terrible reviewer so you are pretty much wrong on both counts.

I don't think I need to derail this discussion anymore, let's bring it back to talking about Megan Fox's body.

I turned off Drag Me To Hell when the bitch got attacked in the back seat of her car by an old woman. My gf and I laughed hysterically and turned it off. Then did anal.
