Pacino could have played the first Rambo. Sly was about 1/2 the size he is now back then.

True, but the Rambo meat head image is more from the sequels. In the first there isn't a lot that I couldn't see Pacino doing. It's mostly survival/traps and none of the vest wearing comando riping throats out.

I still want to know what Stuart Townsend did to piss off Peter Jackson so much. Supposedly they filmed quite a bit of Fellowship before the fallout and recast Aragon.

i can easily see pacino doing the dramatic parts, no doubt about that, but the physical stuff i dunno. i dont think i have ever seen a pacino flick where he shows off his strength and physique. .
