I've usually enjoyed his work, and I enjoyed that video, but scientology is fucking retarded. It is easy to let it affect your opinion of him, as it does mine. It imposes a greater negative than the more popular mythologies would.

His work has dropped off lately too. I can't say I cared for either MI:2 or MI:3.

It's easy to forget how impressive his catalog of movies is and this does a good job of helping you remember even if he is a crazy fucker.

More seriously: Lions for Lambs, Mission: Impossible III, War of the Worlds, Collateral, The Last Samurai, Austin Powers III and Minority Report (that's the last 7 because I am not sure which is the oldest in the last two). If there are ups and downs in that list (and you might have troubles finding a concensus in which are the ups and which are the downs) you'd need to be a seriously tough audience to say 6 of them "sucked balls".
